Just what I needed at just the right price

When we recently bought a new bike for my wife, I was disappointed to find it difficult to hang the bike on the 3-bicycle trailer hitch rack we had for our SUV. The slanted cross bar on her ladies bike just wouldn’t allow the bike to be properly set and tightened into place in that rack no matter how I tried. This great little item takes only seconds to attach to the bike and makes use of our existing bike rack a cinch. The only thing you need to know and I learned from reading other reviews, is to attach and detach the end with the inner extension tube first so that you don’t risk getting your hand pinched in the spring loaded retraction device. Once you get that little detail down, this item is a terrific solution to what was previously a sticky problem. Highly recommend it and I may buy more of them for other family members’bikes.

Works like a charm

We ordered two of these for our ladies Schwinn beach cruisers. They work perfectly and now we can load our bikes on the rack and not have them hanging at weird angles. The shipping was SUPER fast. Ordered on Sunday, arrived Tuesday – using the FREE super saver shipping option! I like the cable that connects the cross pin to the bar – keeps you from losing the pin. This bar might be a bit too large for a kid’s bike, so be sure to check that out first.

Great solution!

This is the one you want. For about $20, you can attach a woman’s, child’s, or youth’s bike onto a standard hitchmount bike rack – and effectively place it on the rack as if it were a men’s bike. We just used two of these on a 3000+ mile trip. Worked flawlessly. Without these, mounting my wife’s and son’s bikes would have been impossible on our Yakima rack. When I needed a 3rd, I had to pick one up locally. Unfortunately, the Allen model wasn’t available and I paid 50% more for another brand that works half as well.

Certainly a well built device. Solved the problem of hanging a (Ladies) bike on the car and garage storage rack. Don’t have to wrestle with this problem anymore. All bikes hang normal.
